Requesting a portrait 

Requesting a portrait of your companion is simple. Just go to the Contact page and send Chris a brief message.

For best results 

In order to capture the true nature of your companion, we will schedule a photo shoot where Chris visits your home, stable, or facility. He'll work with your companion for an hour because spending time with your animal helps them to act naturally, and allows his or her personality to come out. This is what Chris will translate to canvas.

Alternate method 

In the event that you're too far away, or if you want to commemorate a companion that has passed, Chris will request a range of digital photographs in order to a) get a sense of the subject's personality b) find the right pose to achieve the right composition c) get a full sense of color and pattern and d) get an accurate sense of lighting.
